Applecross, Booragoon, Melville and Bicton
Along Canning Highway between the city and Fremantle, these are established riverside suburbs of large homes and newer apartments. Applecross has a small cluster of towers and restaurants by the water, Booragoon centres on a big regional shopping centre, and Melville and Bicton slope down to the river with parks and jetties along the foreshore.
