Fitzroy, Collingwood and Abbotsford
Fitzroy is Melbourne's oldest suburb and its bohemian heart, with Brunswick Street and Gertrude Street lined with bars, live music, vintage shops and galleries. Smith Street marks the border with Collingwood, where old factories and warehouses have become apartments, studios and breweries, and Abbotsford, further east, runs down to the river around the old convent and its gardens.
