Carlton, Carlton North and Parkville
Just north of the city, Carlton is built around Lygon Street, the long strip of Italian restaurants, cafes and gelato shops that has drawn Melburnians for generations. The museum and the exhibition building stand in the Carlton Gardens, the main university campus spreads across the boundary into Parkville, and the big hospitals and the zoo are just beyond. Carlton North is quieter, with terraces around Rathdowne Street.
A dinner on Lygon Street followed by a booking is a Melbourne classic, and plenty of Melbourne escorts who live in the inner north are happy to meet nearby. In-calls here are mostly in terraces and small apartment blocks, and many companions travel into the city for hotel visits.
Trams run up Swanston Street and Lygon Street from the city in about ten minutes. Students and hospital staff keep the area busy at odd hours, so late bookings are easier to arrange than in quieter suburbs.
