Marion, Oaklands Park, Edwardstown and St Marys
The middle south of the city is built around Marion, where one of the state's largest shopping centres sits beside the state aquatic centre at Oaklands Park. Edwardstown and St Marys, closer to the city, are a mix of light industry and post-war houses, and South Road runs through the whole area on its way to the southern suburbs.
