The Ferny Grove line ends at Ferny Grove, a hilly outer suburb where Brisbane's streets give way to bushland and the road continues to the Samford Valley. Ferny Hills, next door, is a suburb of family homes on steep blocks, with creeks and reserves between the ridges and a strong sense of being on the edge of the city.
Companions are thinner on the ground out here, and many people book someone from Mitchelton, Everton Park or the inner north-west instead.
