Toowong, Auchenflower, Taringa, St Lucia and Indooroopilly
Along the river west of the city, Toowong and Auchenflower sit between Coronation Drive and the slopes of Mount Coot-tha, with the riverside hotel on the bend a local landmark. St Lucia, in a loop of the river, is home to the main university campus, and Taringa and Indooroopilly have quiet streets and one of the city's largest shopping centres.
Students, academics and hospital staff keep the western suburbs busy, and there are plenty of companions who live here. Brisbane escorts in the west often host in apartments near the university or the shopping centre, and many travel along Coronation Drive into the city for out-calls.
The Ipswich line stops at Toowong, Taringa and Indooroopilly, and the CityCat runs to the university and Toowong. Coronation Drive is slow at peak hour, so the train or the ferry is often quicker.
