Bookings around the big games
Sydney's sporting calendar is full all year. Cricket fills the SCG in summer, rugby league and union take over the winter, and the AFL plays at the SCG and at the showground stadium at Olympic Park. Add State of Origin, finals, the Royal Easter Show and major concerts, and there is a big crowd somewhere in the city most weekends.
Visitors in town for a match are a familiar part of the year for many companions, and the pattern is predictable. Before a game, people want a short booking near their hotel; after it, they want company to celebrate or wind down. Both are easy to arrange with a little planning, but the hour after full time is the worst moment to start one: trains are packed, roads around the stadium are closed and rideshare prices climb.
Book for a time well after the final whistle, or choose a companion near your accommodation rather than near the ground. Keep your celebration in check too; arriving drunk is the surest way to have a booking cancelled at the door. Sydney escorts in Moore Park, Olympic Park and Parramatta often know their local event calendars and will warn you about clashes.
