Milsons Point, Kirribilli and Lavender Bay
The northern end of the Harbour Bridge comes down at Milsons Point, a small knot of apartment towers, the North Sydney Olympic Pool and a station one stop from Wynyard. Kirribilli spreads east along the shore below it, a neighbourhood of flats and old houses where the Prime Minister's and the Governor-General's Sydney residences stand side by side. To the west, Lavender Bay and McMahons Point look straight across the water at the Opera House and the city skyline.
Being so close to the city, the area works like an extension of the CBD for bookings. Apartments with harbour views make for memorable in-calls, and companions based here can reach the city hotels in minutes by train, by ferry or on foot across the bridge. Ferries stop at Milsons Point, McMahons Point and Kirribilli wharves.
Locals tend to book in the evening after work, and weekends are quieter than in the city. On New Year's Eve the foreshore is one of the most crowded vantage points in Sydney, and road closures make any booking that night a matter of walking. Sydney escorts who live on the lower North Shore often include these harbour suburbs in their out-call area, since the distances are so short.
