Joondalup, Edgewater, Currambine and Kingsley
About twenty-five kilometres north of the city, Joondalup is the regional centre of the northern suburbs, with its own city hall, a university campus, a hospital and a large shopping precinct beside Lake Joondalup. Edgewater sits on the lake's shore, Currambine has newer estates and a station of its own, and Kingsley, to the south, is a quiet suburb of homes and parks.
Plenty of people in the north prefer not to travel into the city at all, and the local listings reflect that. Escorts in Perth's northern suburbs commonly offer in-calls from homes with easy parking, and many will travel along the coast or down the freeway when asked in advance.
The Joondalup line reaches the city in about twenty-five minutes, and the Mitchell Freeway is the main road. Weeknight evenings are generally the easiest time to book, as the northern suburbs are quiet once the shops close.
