Coburg North and Fawkner
Sydney Road keeps running north beyond Coburg, becoming the Hume Highway as it passes through Coburg North and Fawkner. Coburg North is a suburb of postwar houses, small factories and parks, with the Merri Creek winding along its eastern side, while Fawkner is a settled residential suburb best known across the city for its large memorial park and the green open space that surrounds it.
These suburbs are calm and local, and the companions who work here usually describe a friendly, unpretentious style.
