Canterbury, Surrey Hills and Mont Albert
Canterbury is known for its grand houses and for Maling Road, a short street of Victorian shopfronts that feels like a village from another century. Surrey Hills, to the east, has a shopping strip on Union Road and streets of Edwardian and interwar homes, and Mont Albert continues the leafy character towards Box Hill along Whitehorse Road.
This is one of the quietest and most settled parts of the city.
