Near the airport: Tullamarine, Airport West, Broadmeadows and Craigieburn
Melbourne Airport sits about twenty-five kilometres north-west of the city, surrounded by hotels, freight yards and suburbs. Tullamarine and Airport West are closest, with a shopping centre and plenty of motels along the main roads, Broadmeadows and Glenroy lie to the east, and Craigieburn and Roxburgh Park, further north, are large newer suburbs along the Hume Freeway.
For travellers with a late arrival or an early flight, the airport suburbs are the obvious place to look. Melbourne escorts based in the north-west are used to clients on tight schedules, and several mention visiting the airport hotels at short notice when they are free.
The airport bus runs to Southern Cross Station around the clock, and the Craigieburn line serves Glenroy, Broadmeadows and Roxburgh Park. If your flight is delayed, let the companion know as early as you can.
