Belmont and Highton
Across the Barwon River from the city, Belmont has a long shopping strip on High Street and established streets of family homes. Highton, to the west, climbs the hills with larger houses and views back over the river valley, and the walking and cycling paths along the Barwon link both suburbs with the city.
