The city centre and the waterfront
Geelong's centre runs down the hill to Corio Bay. The waterfront has a long promenade lined with painted timber bollards, the Art Deco sea baths and lawns of Eastern Beach, and Cunningham Pier with its restaurants reaching into the bay. A few blocks up, Little Malop Street and the laneways around it hold many of the city's bars and places to eat.
