Regents Park, Chester Hill and Villawood
Between Lidcombe and Bankstown, a branch railway runs south-west through a string of modest suburbs. Regents Park has a small village of shops around its station, Chester Hill has a busier shopping strip by its own platform, and Villawood, further along, mixes light industry with streets of older houses and new townhouses. Sefton, the stop between Regents Park and Chester Hill, is quieter still.
These suburbs are largely houses and townhouses, so out-calls make up most bookings, with a few in-calls in the newer unit blocks near the stations. Companions based in Bankstown, Auburn or Fairfield are all close by, and the roads are generally easy outside peak hour.
