Terms and Definitions

Boosting moves your ad to first place in the carousel for the locations you choose. Boost straight away, or set the date and time you want the boost to happen. Featured advertisers can buy Boost credits for $25 each. Unused Boost credits never expire, but you need a current featured package to use them.

The carousel is our main advertising space: a rotating strip at the top of every search page that shows the nearest, most recently boosted featured advertisers. A place in the carousel gives you the most exposure to clients. Want more time in the carousel for your locations? Buy Boost credits.

Agency and establishment profiles are built around the business, with profile details that suit each type. The main ad of a featured agency or establishment can hold individual profiles – up to 20 on display at any one time. Each one is a full profile page in its own right and can be "popped out" to make it searchable.

All individuals are created under your one login, so you can showcase your best people and add extra profile details and gallery photos for each of them. Every individual links back to your main profile to help you win more business.

Base locations are the semi-permanent locations you choose to advertise in. They are used in site searches and help decide where your ad appears on the results pages and in the carousel.
You can switch a location on or off; switching it off keeps its prices and rate extras saved for next time. All your base locations must be in the same state. Independents can have 2 base locations (1 on the Listed package), and agencies and establishments can have 5.

Only going somewhere for a couple of weeks or less? Featured independents with verified photos can add it as a touring location instead.

A "Pop Out" profile is an individual’s profile that has been temporarily popped out of its agency or establishment profile. Once popped out, it can be found on its own in our search results, and where it appears in each location depends on the Pop Out level bought.

There are two Pop Out levels: Standard and Featured. A Standard Pop Out runs for a week, appears among the weekly ads and can’t be boosted. A Featured Pop Out runs for a week, appears among the featured ads and can be boosted back to the top of its location. When the main profile expires, all of its Pop Out profiles come down with it.

For featured agencies and establishments, each week of a Featured Pop Out uses one feature credit ($75), and each week of a Standard Pop Out uses one Pop Out credit ($20).

You can rotate different individuals in and out of your main business profile to get the most from the advertising you have paid for.

An "Available Now" credit puts the Available Now label on your profile and adds you to the carousel for the location you choose. It’s the easiest way to show clients that you are free right now. Your profile stays in that location’s carousel for 30 minutes.
Every advertiser can buy "Available Now" credits, at $3 each.

To get the most from your advertising, we recommend having your photos verified. The "Photos Verified" label tells the public your profile is genuine.

We can only verify photos that are real images of you, the person providing the service.
To get the "Photos Verified" label, open the photo gallery in your profile and complete the "Photo Verification" steps. You can verify online in a few minutes with your phone or webcam camera, or upload two verification selfies for our team to review.

Please note:

• Your gallery must show the public at least 7 photos.
• Adding even one fake image to your gallery will see the "Photos Verified" label removed until the fake photo is taken down, or permanently at our discretion.
• Sending someone other than the advertised person to a booking without telling the client will see the "Photos Verified" label removed.
• Clients do run reverse image searches, and they are quick to tell us when we get it wrong.

A touring location has a from and to date, so clients can see when to expect you in that area. Featured advertisers with verified photos can set up to 5 touring locations. Each tour appears on the site automatically up to 4 weeks before you arrive and is hidden once you leave.
