Across the Causeway from the city, the Burswood peninsula holds the casino resort, its hotels and theatre, and the stadium where the football, cricket and big concerts are played. Victoria Park, just to the south, centres on Albany Highway, a long strip of cafes, restaurants and late-night takeaways that draws a crowd every evening.
