North Melbourne
North Melbourne is one of the oldest parts of the city, a grid of Victorian cottages, terraces and old corner pubs just beyond the Queen Victoria Market. Errol Street is its village centre, with the clock tower of the town hall standing over a row of cafes, bookshops and restaurants. To the north the suburb runs up towards the big hospitals in Parkville, and to the west new apartment blocks are rising around the railway lands.
The suburb lends its name to an AFL club, and its streets mix long-time residents with professionals who walk to the city. It is a handy base for Melbourne escorts who want to be close to the CBD without living in a tower, and in-calls here are often in renovated terraces or smaller apartment buildings with their own street entrance.
Trams run up Errol Street and along Flemington Road, and North Melbourne station, on the western edge, is a stop for most trains heading north and west. A booking here can easily follow a meal at the market or one of the laneway restaurants in the city.
