Coolangatta and Bilinga
At the southern end of the coast, Coolangatta faces a string of famous surf breaks around the point, with a main street of cafes, pubs and apartments. Bilinga, just north, is home to Gold Coast Airport, and the border with New South Wales runs right through the twin towns, with Tweed Heads on the other side.
For travellers with an early flight or a late arrival, Coolangatta is the obvious place to look. Gold Coast escorts who live at the southern end are used to clients staying near the airport, and several will visit the apartments and hotels around Coolangatta at short notice when they are free.
In summer, Queensland stays on standard time while New South Wales moves to daylight saving, so clocks on either side of the border differ by an hour. Check which time a booking is in if you are staying near the line.
