The city centre and the harbour
Wollongong's centre runs down Crown Street from the station to the sea, with the pedestrian mall, a big shopping centre and the cafes and bars of the streets around it. At the bottom of the hill, the harbour shelters fishing boats below Flagstaff Hill, where two lighthouses stand over the water, and the stadium sits beside the beach to the south.
Most visitors stay in the hotels near the harbour and the beach, and bookings nearby are easy to arrange. Wollongong escorts who work the city often host in apartments within a few minutes' walk of the mall, and touring companions from Sydney usually base themselves in the centre for their stay.
