Meadowbank, Melrose Park and Denistone
Along the northern bank of the Parramatta River, between Rhodes and Ermington, old industrial land has turned into apartment neighbourhoods. Meadowbank has towers beside its station and ferry wharf, where trains on the northern line and river ferries meet within a short walk. Melrose Park, to the west, is in the middle of a large rebuild that is replacing factories with apartments and parks. Denistone sits on the hill behind them, an older area of houses with a small station of its own.
All those new apartments mean in-calls are easy to find close to the river, while Denistone's streets are mainly out-calls. The John Whitton Bridge and the Ryde Bridge cross to Rhodes, putting Olympic Park and Concord a short trip away.
Commuters fill the area at peak times, but evenings are quiet and parking near the river is easier than in the inner city. Sydney escorts based in Rhodes and West Ryde often travel here, and a profile in these suburbs may offer both in-calls and out-calls.
